Trimming Your Kitties' Nails Is An Easy Procedure

Cautiously apply just a little pressure to make him lie down, then reach under the towel and pull out one paw slightly. Then hold the paw somewhat firmly and apply pressure on the top of the paw as stated above. Follow the same process as discussed above, but apply some pressure on the kitty to keep him calm and laying down thus he can't struggle or scratch you. Talking quietly to your cat throughout the nail trimming will comfort and ease your pet.
Trimming your cats nails will get much easier with each trim. Do not quit if your cat struggles too much the first time. There's no reason why you can not give him or her a break or rest and restart the process. Best of luck with your next nail trimming.
