The Story Of Jenn Air Microwaves

Microwave ovens in The States and the entire world have made life simpler for us when preparing meals or heating up food or drinks. Microwave ovens have an intriguing history from the first one invented to how it was invented.

The first microwave heating device that was technically documented using the expression microwave was in 1931 when it was referred to in The Telegraph and Telephone Journal. It is intriguing that a mathematics person known as James Clark Maxwell was able to predict an existence of electromagnetic waves as soon as 1864 applying math equations. In around 1890 the first man shown the existence of electromagnetic waves by means of an UHF region.

In the 1970s they got reasonably priced for middle-class Americans. The firm Jenn Air was created by a man named Louis J. Jenn. This corporation was established in the late 1940s. When it was created the name was Jenn-Air Products. This is a company that in the beginning built fans for huge buildings (the formal name is industrial fans).

They developed into creating kitchen appliances like ovens and stove ranges. Few years later the enterprise name transformed into Jenn-Air. They got into creating refrigerators in the 60s then microwave heating devices have become popular and they started to build and market these up to this very day.

The founder Louis J. Jenn has a suitable memorial park in Indianapolis, Indiana. Maytag acquired Jenn-Air in the early 1980s and they are today owned by Whirlpool corporation as of 2006. Jenn Air still makes microwave heating devices, but now the type that are constructed into the walls and countertops are what they focus on.

One of the current models being sold is the 30 inch over the range Jenn Air microwave convection oven. Convection signifies that it is a microwave heating device that works as a regular microwave heating device and also works as an oven type that makes food with the speed of a microwave heating device but the food comes out browned as it would out of a normal oven.

Jenn Air also has 24 and 27 inch microwaves. The 30 inch Jenn Air microwave oven is offered in 5 colors. The 24 inch is an under counter product with a drawer shape. These are not the cheap microwave heating devices you will see at a Walmart etc, but these are quality microwave heating devices that last a whole lot longer and are produced with better parts.

The Jenn Air microwave is worth the price and if you purchase one of these you won't regret it.
