Mike Dooley - The Secret And The Law Of Attraction. Can You Manifest Your Future In The Way You Want To?
I originally heard of Mike Dooley when I saw the DVD, "The Secret'. I can't imagine how many others also saw it, possibly millions. I guess that most of those who saw it, failed to get the law of attraction to work for them.
Mike Dooley, like all of the leaders, was viciously edited and only had a couple of minutes to make his point. The Secret did a good job of promoting the concept of the law of attraction to a wider audience but it only scratched the surface.
It excited people about the idea but it left a lot questions unanswered. Rhonda Byrne and the makers of The Secret didn't follow up with more in depth coverage of the topic. It was left to individuals to seek out the teachers involved in order to get further clarification.
I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to meet Mike Dooley at a seminar in the UK in late 2009. It was a date in his World Tour III - Playing the Matrix. This goes on into 2011 and I would experience it if you can.
The Matrix is a simple and elegant chart that answered some of the questions that I and a lot of others were left with after seeing the secret. It lays out his ideas about the true nature of reality and the way creation works.
It gave me a different perspective on goal setting and the process of achieving goals. The big question that Mike covers is, should you keep focusing on what you want or do you imagine it, emotionalize it and then let it go?
The matrix guides you on where to put your focus, and what elements you should put out to the Universe. Having learned this, Mike suggests that you visualize only once a day, for a maximum of 5 minutes. Then, you should get on with your day.
The whole day was excellent, relaxing and fun. Mike Dooley himself is a very personable and approachable guy and it was great to meet him. He can make this type of material much more accessible than some teachers. I recommend checking out his programs.
