Massage Chair Much Better Than Chiropractor... Almost!
Recently I bought my elderly aunt a massage recliner chair for her birthday. She's got an awful back and wrong posture and regularly visits the Chiropractor for massages and correction of her posture. It has aided her tremendously as she is elderly and has an awful back, she doesn't get sufficient exercise as she must, this causes her to complain of still being stiff when she gets home from the chiropractor.
And so I thought a massage chair would be great for her! And she does like it! I got this chair for her because I have heated seating in my car and she has said on many occasions that she enjoys the heat and it feels great on her back (it was this or some soap on a rope!) After I got it to my flat and was able to wrap it - that was fun - I took it over to her house on her birthday.
She almost fainted at the sight of it as she assumed I had got her a fridge! Once I had calmed her down and she had unwrapped it (after the point she believed it was some sort of gaming chair or Lazeebot!), she was delighted and quickly wished to connect it and use it. The shiatsu massage chair that I bought had several massage therapy and heating settings. My aunt prefers the pulsating configuring at a moderate to high heat.
Her chiropractic specialist has noticed a difference in her posture and back muscles - probably because she makes use of her massage chair every night while she sits in front of the TV! I will also purchase one for my own for sitting while watching my TV, not for improving posture or back pains, but for playing on my PS3! It's mega comfortable, and I would recommend it for everyone, especially for an aunt's birthday!
