My wife convinced me to go to the medical professional. I found out that I had high blood pressure and was on the verge of having a stroke - & I had thought I had such great physical fitness! The medical doctor put me on medication to treat the high blood pressure. I felt horrible on the medicine. The physician told me that I could aim to lower the blood pressure by changing my lifestyle - such as eating habits and fitness exercise regimens - or we could try another medicine. I decided that I would attempt to change my life-style rather than put up with the side effects of the medicines.
I've always been a type A personality. I ate on the run, slept 3 to four hours a night and ate whatever I felt hungry for.
