The rates that they show you on the internet are already very high, but what they don't say is the rest of the story. Not only do they need to set up the air conditioner, charging you for parts and labor, but they may have to totally overhaul your ventilation system. If, like me, you scarcely or never use your heater, chances are that it is not in that great a shape.
