A Young Male Gets A "Driving Under The Influence" Arrest And Comes To A Decision To Hire A "Driving Under The Influence" Lawyer

Even though Franklin wasn't an attorney, he told his son that he learned the hard way when as a young man he received a "drunk driving" arrest, represented himself in court, paid four thousand dollars in fines and penalties, and served three months in jail. As he mentioned to his son, after he got out of jail, he found out from a lawyer friend that if he would have hired a DWI lawyer in the first place, he probably would have had his fines and penalties significantly reduced and he may have never served any time in the local city jail.

When Lawrence heard this he knew he needed more facts about DUIs and so he asked his dad for additional information about what a "driving under the influence" attorney can do in a "driving under the influence" arrest. His dad then articulated the following: "Even for a first DWI conviction, you could experience insurance coverage problems, face possible restrictions on your interstate and international travel, lose your driver's license, or face the loss of your job. The good news, conversely, is that you can quite possibly avoid most or maybe all of these penalties by hiring a DWI lawyer."

When Lawrence listened to his dad explain this, it was as if his eyes were opened for the first time about the relevance of hiring a "driving under the influence" attorney. Near the end of their conversation, Lawrence said that he was beginning to understand more about DUI laws and what "driving under the influence" attorneys can do for a person who has received a DUI arrest.

After getting "educated" about "drunk driving" arrests, the role of "drunk driving" attorneys, and understanding that he didn't have to agree to take any field sobriety tests at the time of his arrest, Lawrence made up his mind that he would without question hire a "drunk driving" attorney to represent him in court. Something else, however, happened after he had talked to his father. Lawrence finally started to comprehend the critical nature of "drunk driving" arrests and, as a consequence, he made up his mind that from this moment forward, he would always drink in moderation so that he would never again have to experience another "driving under the influence" arrest.

His father smiled at Lawrence and told him the following: "son, it took me until I was forty-five years old to realize what you just told me. I am really proud of you." This did wonders for his self worth and so Lawrence thanked his dad and then said, "if I can always drink responsibly, I will never have to hire a DWI lawyer again!"

There was, however, one thing that neither Lawrence nor his dad thought about, namely, if Lawrence is displaying any alcohol abuse signs or maybe if he is manifesting any of the common signs of alcoholism. Indeed, if Lawrence is displaying any alcohol signs that point to alcoholism or alcohol abuse, he may need alcohol rehab.

In fact, Lawrence may be required by the court to get rehab for his hazardous and careless drinking. The good news, however, is that whatever it takes to deal with his excessive and unhealthy drinking, it seems like Lawrence will be motivated to do the "correct" thing.
