A Woman Engages In Hazardous And Excessive Drinking And Gets Outstanding Help At An Alcohol Treatment Center For Alcohol Withdrawals And Symptoms Of Alcoholism

Beth was the mother of three children. Beth had been feeling very fretful lately and started to "medicate" herself by drinking several shots of bourbon every evening after she put her children to bed. After about eight weeks of this drinking routine, she at last realized that instead of helping her unwind and "manage" her difficulties, drinking made her feel more restless when she got up in the morning. This, in turn, made her feel increasingly more anxious all through the day.

After thinking about her circumstance for several days, Beth decided to "open up" about her problem drinking with her closest friend. In actual fact, approximately twenty minutes into their chat, Beth's friend Jennifer, told her about a very experienced and helpful physician at the local alcohol and drug rehabilitation center. After talking to her best friend, Beth without much ado got motivated to call the treatment clinic and schedule an appointment.

Ten days later she finally got to meet the physician her best friend had talked about. After their short introduction, Beth told the psychiatrist that ever since her husband and she divorced one another, she has been struggling financially, emotionally, and spiritually.

As Beth was talking to the physician, she highlighted the point that she truthfully thought that she and her ex-husband dated long enough to know each other good enough before they got married. After the children started to arrive, on the other hand, their lives appeared to go downhill. To make mattes even worse, both Robert and she started to drink, and their hazardous and abusive drinking negatively affected their finances, their relationship, and their love for one another.

The physician explained to Beth that the alcohol poisoning symptoms she has been going through are due to her abusive and unhealthy drinking. The psychiatrist also told Beth that her alcohol withdrawal symptoms are some of the common symptoms of alcoholism and that the most effective solution for this is alcohol rehab.

After spending five months in inpatient alcohol rehab, Beth was little by little able to understand that the real cause of her anxiety and her depression was the fact that she had not resolved her nasty feelings she has for her ex-husband who divorced her. In short, Beth let these feelings perturb her so much that she became an alcohol dependent individual.

Armed with these insights and with the medications her psychiatrist prescribed, she eventually quit drinking, she started to feel significantly less depressed, and she started scheduling more time for social activities with her family and friends. Not only this but a few months after receiving therapy from her physician, began to date once again.

It was evident that Beth had certainly come a long way. In point of fact, just around six months after she stopped her treatment, Beth had finally laid the harmful emotions of Robert, her ex-husband, to rest and was beginning to feel more self respect and more spiritually"alive" and psychologically "together" than she had ever felt in her life.
